Replaced rotted wood on Jayco 93 1006 series roof; now to put it back together!

We’ve managed to replace the wood along the sides of our roof since it was all rotted. Now it’s time to put it all back together. The original frame that holds it together on the edges is slightly bent and I’m curious if other that replaced their roofs, used the original frames or got new ones. What can we use to somehow bend it into shape? It fits back great, but there are areas that need to be bent into place and I don’t want to force it. The bent frame I’m referring to is the newly painted black (use to be white) piece on the last picture.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Did you watch a video on how to replace your roof? How hard was it to replace the wood?

It was not hard at all. We traced the wood shapes onto new pieces of plywood and kept the original aluminum and framing.

Hey now. I'm doing a slightly smaller job, but similar. What I'm having problems with is figuring out what seal use. Though I'm only replacing the wood on the roof front panel, I'm thinking I need to replace all of the gasket that seals the top to the box. What did you use or where did you get it?

Thanks

Replacing gaskets

So I was able to bend the framing back into shape and ended up buying new screws. Even the bolts that connect the roof to the side metal poles that raise and lower it. I used the sticky aluminum tape for all the seams under the metal framing too. I would’ve loved to get new metal frames, but with it being so old, I didn’t even know where to look.

Thanks for the reply. I'll start a new thread with the process I go through. I may have found a parts supply that's willing to research with me.
