Tires

Definitely go with LT (light truck) tires. Much better than the "car tires" that most 1/2 trucks come with. Can run higher pressures if needed and they help minimize sway.

No problem towing with Ram 1500. But I got rid of the crap "car tires" they put on half ton trucks at the factory. Put on LT tires; 50 psi and keep trailer tires at max recommended pressure.

Main point is to make sure you have LT (light truck) tires at least on your rear axle. The "car tires" they put on most 1/2 ton pickups as original equipment are worthless.
