I auto level then lower it manually and check with a level. That will often keep the tires on the ground, but if not I'll raise it up again and use 2x6s or other blocks to lower the wheels onto.

I fill the hole with Gorilla Glue, let it cure overnight and then drill a small pilot hole in the glue. It allows me to use the original screws in the original location and has held up well.

I did nearly the exact same in our 29mv, also adding a toggle switch to the 12v line to disconnect it when not in use. I just put the Jetpack inside the cabinet for best wifi reception within the MH.
