Hello all! First time poster. Long time browser.
I have a 2007 Jayco Jay Feather Export 17C that has two queen bed pop outs on each side. I am in the process of acquiring new trim for the canvas for where the canvas attaches to the trailer body with the white "J" shaped trim. (Jayco Part#0181878) I have a local awning shop that is game to remove and resew this trim to my existing canvas. The canvas is in great shape and the only failure has been where the plastic has aged and cracked where the screws are.
Also I am acquiring the white tube seal that goes between the pop out doors and the trailer body and will be replacing this also. (Jayco Part# 0502453) or will be replacing with Jayco part number 0210350 this is the newer design.
1. Has anyone done either of these items before? Offer and tip or advice?
2. Any suggestions for the best way to remove the existing white tube seal for the doors, clean and prep the surface for new installation?
I added some general pictures to this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/04f7v82wv...CJe5cZNga?dl=0
Thanks in advance for any
you can offer!
