It's times like this that a VOM can come in handy. It could help you rule some things out (manual switch faulty, power to the control board). Before I have something repaired I like to poke around to see if I can figure out what's broke and what's not broke. If I can figure out what is broke then I'll figure out if it's easier to fix it myself (which I'd rather do anyway).
