You might find the least conspicuous spot and take a razor blade and scratch off the paint to see it is paint cracks or if the metal underneath is damaged.
If the cracks are in the metal than you could paint over with a roof sealer paint. Alternatively you can use Add to Eternabond tape if you could cover it all.
In my old pop-up there was foam insulation under the metal roof. But if water gets in it will head down hill and you may have a wood frame.
