Chesapeake Bay KOA

Starting to make several reservations for 4-5 day trips over the spring/summer.
Made one for first week in June at the Chesapeake Bay KOA...never been there before...
Had a bunch of KOA points banked up from our trip out west last year...site was almost half off so wanted to take advantage of saving some $$$.
Any input as to whether we made a boo-boo going there ?

We've stayed there twice on trips south. We only stayed 2 day the first time and 3 days the second. Very nice clean campground. Lots of activities if you like that sort of thing. For us it was just a stopping off place. Very friendly staff. Nice sites.

If you have kids there is a large water park nearby, Cape Charles is a nice town to walk around and there is a state park close by as well.

I don't think you have anything to worry about...

Thanks...
No kids...just 2 oldsters. We do like to walk thru small towns and villages, sight-see, and take in the local restaurants. Window shop. local shops, ect.
Be our first time going across the Bay Bridge/Tunnel...actually looking forward to it !

The bridge tunnel is a unique experience! I saved the dash cam video from our first trip over / under. You will enjoy the area around that KOA...
