Not far. really close by boat. You may have to book now or it may be too late

Thanks Kim. I saw that and skipped over it. Thought it was only a city park/boat launch !

Thanks jay, the map shows more than the search did, but the ones I originally found said "no reservations for 2022"......
The main reason I asked on here is that I have been in Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts that I would NEVER try to pull a trailer....

I always look at the satellite view on city and county parks. Sometimes the icon is not clear as to what all is at the park.

Some city parks have campgrounds
Freeport ME has one waterfront. Winslow Park.
You no doubt know you want nothing to do with S of Biston if you need to be within a reasonable drive time of Marblehead. From Salem its 20 miles. 40 minutes.
For fun try I 84 through Hartford with all the s turns

Plan your route carefully in the area and pay attention to gas station approaches. The area was settled in the 1600 s and the roads are basically paved over trails . No large truck stops. Once you are off the Turnpike you need to find neighborhood gas stations and they are not near the water.

Salisbury Beach State Park Salisbury Ma. might be an option. It's about 30 minutes away and is right on the ocean. Easy to get to. Mass state will be starting to take reservations on Feb. 22. And the window is 4 months ahead so you would be OK. We like the place. Water and electric. Big dump site.
