30amp to 50 amp

Forgive me for the elementary question. Kitty and I just sold our 30amp RV and planning to upgrade to a 50amp RV. At my home I have a 30 amp receptacle I plug into when the RV is parked. Now for my elementary question.
When I get the 50 amp RV and plug it in utilizing a 30 to 50 amp adapter, I will only have electrical service in the RV for half the electrical service? It will only power one of the two electrical legs in the RV. Correct?

If so, is it the half that runs the RV appliances? i.e. refrigerator.

Normally it is the second A/C unit on the second leg.
I use a 50 to 30 dogbone adapter
Everything works no issues

As Roadrunner stated everything works. The adapter powers both legs, but only with 30 amps total. I had the same situation for 15 years with no.problems.

Every circuit will work, tho you will only have 3600 watts available with 30 amps. 50 amp will have 12000 watts.

Can you then plug 30 amp into 15 amp, and at least charge the battery?

Yes and depending on what else is on that circuit you may even be able to run your a/c.

Yes you can. Use an adapter from 30 amp female to 15 amp male like this one, or similar:

https://www.amazon.com/30-amp-15-rv-...amp+rv+adapter

Ours is plugged in like that as we speak, to keep the battery up.
