lol.... yup.... there are no instructions what so ever but it is pretty straight forward. They are planning on sending me another power adapter to see if that is the problem. Fingers crossed.

I mounted mine to my awning tube, but I think that was a mistake. We only get to use the camper once a month when we go down to the State Park for a weekend of trout fishing. The rest of the time it sits in storage at the park with the awning rolled up. Every time we pull it out of storage to use for the weekend, the awning is soaking wet from collecting rain and condensation all month. We went down Memorial Day weekend for our second trip with the lights, and by the end of the weekend, most of the red LEDs had gone kaput. When I fist unrolled the awning I noticed the plastic the LEDs are embedded in was cloudy, but they worked when I turned them on, so I decided to keep an eye on them. By the end of the first day most of the cloudiness had gone away and the were still working, but a few of the reds weren't quite as bright as the rest. On the second day I noticed a lot more of the reds were not as bright as the rest. By the third day the reds started dying; most of the LEDs that were dim on day 2 were dead on day three and it just got worse on day 4.
I contacted the seller on Amazon when we got home and he's sending a new set of lights from Hong Kong. My buddy installed his on the underside of where his awning mounts to his camper after he saw what happened to mine. I may do the same thing, but the replacement set is definitely not going back on the awning tube.

Here's a pic of what they started to look like on day 3...

Robo,
Nope, stayed clear all weekend. Will let you know if that changes next outing in 2 weeks.

I have concerns about this as well, the awning is always dripping wet when unrolled and although the lights say "waterproof" I remain unconvinced as mine were also a bit cloudy for awhile until they were on a few hours. I do not believe they will hold up for long staying wet most of the time......

I just ordered another set of lights and also some extension cords, this way you can run the cord down beside the awning and plug in the rf receiver so it isn't hanging in the air and blowing in the wind, I stuck them to the side of the camper not on the awning tube

While at the TT a couple of weeks ago, I noticed how easily the male pin connectors bend. I ordered 20 of the from Amazon so that I will always have one handy. Less than 5 bucks with free shipping.

Well,
I've had good luck with mine until today.
I left the pig tail flapping in the breeze between SLC, Utah and Ft. Collins, CO
When I went to put the awning out, the pig tail is gone :-(

I miss my lights lol

Good thing I have a spare set waiting at home.

Finally had a chance to see the lights at night, had quite a few people look at them and thanks to JOF I was the first in the campground to have them
