Black Water Tank HELP

Have you ever got in trouble not saying what you thought was the obvious?

Just returned from a week of camping with Kitty and two teenage granddaughters. When camping, and hooked to a sewer, I don't empty the black water tank everyday, but elect to give the drop-in chemicals a chance to work, then empty maybe every other day or as needed. After being at the site a couple days, I went to empty the tanks. Pulled the black water tank valve, initially had good flow, the suddenly, nothing. Worked the valve a couple time and got a trickle. (YES, YOU HAVE GUESSED IT)

Upon investigation, I discovered one of the TEENAGE granddaughters was experiencing that MONTHLY thing and was depositing the "hardware" down the pot. When ask, she said, "That's what I do at home!"

It had never occurred to me to tell a WOMAN to not do that in a camper.

Lesson learned.

Now for my question.

Any thoughts on how I can retrieve those items from inside the tank?

Plugged up Shorty.

Been there.
Repeated cycle of fill tank to the brim, dump,.
Took 3 cycles to drain completely and discharge the "items".

Good luck.

I tell all "guests" the bathroom rules right up front. I am very over cautious when it comes to black tank dumping...

I've got the tank full to the brim letting it soak. Kitty now has a sign posted to the bathroom wall identify what can go down the stool.

As I said, Lesson learned.

If you can, I'd move the rig around a little even if just up and down the driveway.
