Hershey pricing question.

Is the Hershey show pricing really that good? Especially on travel trailers. If you decided on a camper how long does it take to receive it.

I've been to that show 3 times. In my opinion the show price is not the best deal, but it's not a bad point to begin negotiations. I think one can negotiate better pricing on the internet, but you need to be willing to travel. For instance, we bought our 2018 5th wheel for the less money than the local dealer wanted to sell a 2016 leftover, but we traveled 350 miles to buy. Use the Hershey show to educate yourself. I love it, I think we're going again this weekend.

This was my first time going. I can see how it's very overwhelming. But I went knowing what I wanted and price I want it. So that made it a lot easier.

Ha, you aren't kidding it can be overwhelming!!! The first time I went I was just comparing brands, trying to get a feel for what I liked and didn't like. Once I figured that out, the next year I started looking for floorplans that I liked. It took me 2 years to finally narrow down what I wanted, but it was worthwhile.

I've literally spent the entire day walking before and didn't even get to some sections of the show. We completely ignored motorhomes the first year, because we weren't buying them. I can't imagine seeing everything in one day, and by the end of the first day I'm exhausted and my feet hurt so I can't imagine coming back the next day!

Why would they take comments down?

I'm not sure, it is quite possible I am crazy. I could have sworn there were more comments on this thread before... I'm the only one that thinks that, so it seems more and more likely that I am nuts...

I don't think it matters much where you are! Are goal is always 35% off MSRP.I think delivery fee is just a free be to the dealer ship. Thanks

I think I did pretty good yesterday. Msrp was $28000, show price was $22,400. With my trade in I got $16700. They told me no way they would sell for that much. Walked two rows over. They told me they will make it work.

I checked and there is no history of any removed posts from this thread by any site team member, or anyone else lol.

I agree with earlier comments.
I went for the 1st time and pricing was really competitive. A great place for the type of buyers that don't want to spend too much time online or in person negotiating. The dealerships willingness to negotiate At the show is apparent esp on the last day. Miracles happen from what I've heard.
However I still believe negotiating online with multiple dealers saves the most amount.

Myself and DW also went last weekend for the first time. WOW! Unbelievable and amazing to say the least.

Show prices seemed to be consistently around 25-30% off MSRP for all the travel trailers we looked at. They did not have the model we are looking at in the show, the new 2018 Jay Flight 28BHS, but one of the Jayco dealers there gave a me quote for it at 30% off MSRP for my custom order with a lot of the options. I am going to check several dealers online to see if I can get closer to the 35% or more off of this unit.

we went to the show as well and I noticed some campers were priced good, but others had the "everyday price". We're looking at the Pinnacle REFS and it was at the show for 76k, and I've seen it online from 68 to 77k, so I think on most the prices are the 'everyday' pricing.
