How to empty my water tank on a 2007 Jayco Hawk camper trailer

Hi everyone,

New to camping. I’m trying to work out how to empty my FW water tank and all the videos I see are for newer model that have a quick release valve. I can’t see that on my model. Any help would be appreciated

Model: 2007 Jayco Hawk Outback

You may be hard pressed to get an answer here. The AU units are not always built the same as the US rigs.

With that said most US rigs have a valve right under the tank or adjacent to it, and the drain pipe is directly below it. They are normally a valve that turns.

If you crawl under and look around near the tank you may find a small pie hanging down a few inches. It may have a shut off and that would be it. In some models I have seen the valve inside and near the tank.

An alternative way is to use the low point drain ( if you have one) near the water heater or water pump area but that would take a long while to drain.

Maybe call a couple dealers of RVs in your area and ask if they have any info on that model?
