That is scary. I've measured mine last year, but have forgotten the actual height. Gonna measure again and write it down, or better yet, make a label and put it on the frame on driver's side.

App for bridges, propane, and weight.

We use the app CoPilot GPS. It’s for truckers and RVs. You enter your rigs height, weight, length, and if you have propane. Than it’s like using google maps. It works pretty well. Steers you clear of places you can’t go. There is a free trial period. One more really important thing. Write down your rigs height and weight in a place the driver can see. If you’re going up into Canada have your measurements in the metric system. All signs up there are in meters. Pay attention to yellow or orange warning/advisory signs. They have saved me a few times.

We mapped out a trip with RV Trip wizard a year or two ago... (We don't have it any longer) as it never flagged this as a problem...

In our experience... None of them work 100%... you have to choose which one sucks the least. Stay on "Truck Routes" and be prepared to stop and back-up in severe traffic when you find a situation like this one (We backed up about 1/3 mile to get turned around. )

Apps not perfect

Definitely agree that the apps are less than perfect. Especially going through work zones or construction zones where they may have temporary height or weight restrictions. That’s why I stressed reading the warning and caution signs.

On the route you proposed, the only tunnel you'll see is the Eisenhower Tunnel west of Denver and it's plenty high enough. As long as you stay on Interstate highways, you'll have no height issues unless you run into a detour. In addition, you have no problem with fuel stops along Interstates.

Where you may run into trouble is going to be off the beaten path in cities or town or along state or county roads.
