Talked to the dealer that I bought my camper from and he suggested that also but said it would void the warranty on the camper. I just think Jayco could fix the problem if they cared to but you and I know that will never happen

Post the coax diagram that Jayco sent you. Let’s see if we have a work around.

Yup my unit was a lemon, I have been working on it 5 days a week to take care of all the problems, since August warranty has spent about 8,000 plus on our unit been in the shop 4 times and sometimes for mths, I am out of warranty , so it does not impact me, I am now down to my last 3 things, cable connection, seal the pass threw basement doors, and replace 2 decal's---some friends have said to get red of it, I said why I am done, why do i want to take a 50/50 shot of having to start all over again--- LOL

This did not void a thing on my unit---321 RSTS model yr 2017 , had plenty of warranty work done on it, not a word from anyone, and you do not have to go to a Jayco dealer for warranty work to be done--Don't believe everything they tell ya, trust but verify do not feel bad about calling Jayco yourself you maybe surprised at the answer you may get in your favor--that's the verify side of things--

Here's the quick answer --- I am in the same boat --- here's what i have to do its quick and easy, instead of wasting hours chasing cable and connection's--- this is from Amazon under $10, will get it to ya in a few days, they tell ya to drill a 1 inch hole, but you can get by with a 3/4 no problem just mount the RG-6 cable to it when you are finishing the mount on the outside wall that you are going threw---here's a couple of photos.
I got something like that but I got it from a rv store for $6.95.

I second the reply on the previous page. My 5th wheel was wired wrong. I eventually tried plugging (the same model satellite receiver you have) the coax into the "AUX" port =-- it then worked perfectly. The "SAT" port got nothing. Try that first before drilling.

2020 321rsts

I discovered you have to use the auxiliary connection on the external panel. The ones marked satellite and cable don’t work with a dish or tailgater. I just purchased the same unit and it works great through the aux connection no mods required.

My 321 has a cable, aux and sat connection on the external panel. I thought that was standard on the Jayco’s.

If that’s the case all my comments won’t help you. Good luck finding a solution that won’t void your warranty. I suspect the risk of anything breaking associated with the installation of a coax plug plate would occur. As well they would have a tough time proving it considering they install them in the factory on numerous models.
