I'm just a cynic, I guess. ISO9xxx just meant paperwork to me.
Not much else.
The only thing that'll cause change is when this becomes a financial burden to the maker. Whether that's a drop in sales, increase in warranty costs, bad PR, etc.
Ain't nutting going to change when they're flying off the lots - as is.
