New purchase, what came with your trailer?

I have purchased a 2018, new old stock 32bhds. I am just wondering what sort of accessory kit if any, came with similar purchases? Any hoses, plugs, sewage items, etc. Just looking to avoid duplicating things as I make purchases before pick up...

You'd have to ask your dealer. AFAIK, Jayco doesn't supply any kind of accessory kit. What a dealer includes varies from dealer to dealer.

Don’t count on anything that way you will not be disappointed. I was assured I would have everything I needed to set up camp. Well what we had was a 50 amp power cord, 2 rolls of toilet paper! A 10 foot hose and inline pressure regulator. This turned out to be insufficient as I learned how much the required items can cost at the RV park that is 25 miles outside of the nearest town. Just one more camp life lesson.

Google setting up camp with a TT, and you see what items are needed/necessity, and then you'll see all the other items that make it nice/easier. You need to do it a few times to see what works for you and your way of setting up, etc. Kinda like doing mods to your boat, or lawnmower, or car, or ...

We bought 2 Jaycos from the same dealer. The first one came with a worthless sewer hose, a 25' water hose, a water pressure regulator, some toilet chemicals and toilet paper. When we traded that first camper in for the second, the dealer didn't give us anything with the second camper. What you get from a dealer just varies from dealer to dealer.

All our dealer gave us after purchasing our trailer was a 6 foot sewer hose (like above.... WORTHLESS) a small package of toilet chemicals and 4 nice plastic cups with the dealers logo patch between layers.

Don't count on what the dealer gives you to be usable. cheapest junk they can find.

Also we bought almost everything for our camper at amazon, but you may find the same items at Walmart cheaper and its easy to take back to Walmart if you get something you don't need.

Get the minimum to start you will end up getting a bunch of stuff you will never use.

The keeper items we bought and use almost every trip are:

RV TP

Black tank chemicals we have a bunch of this walmart clearances it a lot when the package changes

Good sewer hose (2 10 ft pieces or 2 15 ft pieces)

Short fresh water hose about 6 ft works for us at most camp sites and you don't have a 25 ft er to roll up all the time.

Get a 25 ft hose too just in case you are at a dumb camp site and the hook ups are on the wrong side

water pressure regulator

water filter

10-15 ft black water hose

water hose T with individual shutoffs (Drinking water safe some have lead)

Flush King best thing ever when you have full hookups.

stacking square pads or blocks

drive up tire changer / leveler - we Have not used it yet, but count it as insurance
https://www.amazon.com/Trailer-Aid-T...-1-spons&psc=1

bar that goes across the screen door

extra water heater plugs

Rectorseal 23710 1-3/4-Ounce Tube T Plus Pipe Thread Sealant - Seals way better than tefflon tape and you smear it on like tooth paste instead of trying to wrap it up like the slippery tape

first aid kit

benadryl

poison ivy cream

extra garden hose rubber o rings

Junk we bought and have never used or rarely use, but still pack around:

We Just purchased a 145rb I wasn't expecting any extras considering its the econo box. We looked at the package deals in the dealerships parts room a quick mental calculation I didn't bite. Some I had, most could be had at Wally World plus where else can you go and see a grown man in a Princess dress with a 3 day shadow while picking up camping supply's.

Both units we’ve bought came with a “starter kit”. Several folks have posted similar items. All of it (except the TP and tank chems)I have replaced with better quality items. Both times it came packed in a nice 5 gal bucket which was the most valuable item.
The sewer hose was short and had no “donut” and most CG’s would prohibit its use. The power adapter was the kind that tends to arc and overheat. The water hose was short and small diameter. Pressure regulator was cheap. I think there was a sponge and bottle of RV wash too.

Same here and I was checking into this forum about a year before I purchased my first TT and purchased the right stuff 1st time around and after 6 years I’m still using the same equipment.

Gotta love this forum for their millions of miles of road testing and common sense.

I got a kit and keep some stuff for backup use only. The TP was 1 ply and well I brought better and have not opened it yet. I made a list before I brought the trailer of the stuff I would need to buy. Here is a link to a reduced version of that list which included stuff I wanted but not needed such as an RV mat. It includes most of the items already posted here, but it is a google sheet so easier to get on your phone and shop with.

I would hold off until you get your new tt. Ours too came with a 5 gallon bucket, with a 25ft water hose, a cheap sewer hose, some sewer chemicals. And that was about it.

In a small tt, you do not have room to haul alot. We never have full hookups, so I still use the cheap sewer hose, it works for our needs. Over the years, I have added a 10' water hose (used almost exclusively), a water bandit (use it often), 5 gallon Jerry can to haul more water in, a 25' 10 gauge extension cord, 50 amp to 30 amp adaptor both only has been used a few times, but have been glad to have them. Cheap pressure regulator, as we rarely, ever have water at our site.

I would add, lots of 15 and 30 and fuses, when you blow one, you'll blow a few more, figuring out why.

Ultimately your camping style, will determine what you really need. Nice thing is, Walmart is almost always around the corner.

Ditto on talk to the dealer. Sometimes they will sweeten a deal by including stuff. If not you'll know by talking to them and maybe get them to discount the stuff if you buy everything from them.

We purchased a new 2016 31DS in 2016. The dealer gave us a store credit for $100 and we bought the best sewer hose and water pressure regulator we could get. THEN, the sales person gave us a tote bag filled with goodies...pens, playing cards, 4 insulated drinking glasses, a BBQ set with skewers, camp recipe book and a package of 4 rolls of toilet paper. We were set!

What came with our trailer? Huge smiles from my wife, and two little girls.

We didn't get or ask for any thing extra with our. The other dealers we looked at offered $50 or $100 towards the parts department. We saved about $3000 buying from this dealer, so was plenty happy with what we got as it was.

I know I am late to the party here but I recently discovered that the cook-top in the outdoor kitchen, and the bumper mounted grill do NOT come with the LP hoses to connect them to the supply line. The supply lines have "quick connects" on them at the back of the trailer, so it's easy enough to do, but..........

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

My trailer was not optioned for the outside grill so it did not come with a supply line for it, but the cooktop on the outside kitchen did some with a supply line, I would ask the dealer.
