Yes, because a twenty-foot sewer hose is the extended length. It stores at a length of around five to six feet when fully compressed/collapsed.

It won't blow out if you position it all the way to the front of the bed and put a ratchet strap across it as well as my ground mat and water hose. The mat and water hose are in the middle of the bed right in front of the hitch and the sewer hose is on one side. It has traveled about 14,000 miles right there.

I have one of those sew hose rinse caps, for my rhino hose. Rinse it, cap it, and store it coiled in a tote, with the adapter end and gloves.

I use a plastic tote in my back bay for mine after first finding that my Rhino would not fit in my bumper. After reading here I took a minute and found that my Rhino fittings just needed a little twist and suddenly they fit....who'd a thunk it. That said....I still like using the tote even though it takes some space. I keep the fittings, chemicals and other things in it to keep my bay nice and clean.

I've tried the bumper but it wouldn't hold the clear angled piece I added to the end of the hose. I've thought about adding a fence post underneath but when it comes down to it, the plastic tub I keep in a storage compartment works just fine and I'm not hurting for space.

I think there will be a bunch of people that find out they didn't need the separate storage tube when they give those fittings a "little twist"...

Agree. I at first didn’t think the Rhino would fit in my 4” bumper (184BS) but it does very snuggly if you turn the right way.

I use a plastic box that holds two ten foot lengths, terminal connection and a spare two foot section that is real handy to have.

I agree. Even when you tell them how it will fit they don't believe you. I'm thinking about making a video about installing a RhinoFlex hose into a 4'' bumper. Jeeez.

Once everyone does it the first time, it will be a MAJOR light bulb moment.

Another tip, I noticed the inside of my bumper was all rusted (and this was a brand new unit). The rust actually caused a lot of resistance when sliding in any hose.

So, I pulled off both caps and sprayed the inside of the bumper with silicone and WD-40... now, my rhino flex hoses (with the fittings swiveled the right way) slide right in and out, without resistance.

Fortunately, my trailer, J Flight 23RB, has a huge storage compartment on the right rear side. Originally meant to put a small refrigerator in it. We use it for storage.

I have a large plastic container which holds my 15' Rhino stinky slinky plus an 10' extension, a non potable water hose, and a variety of connections, disposable rubber gloves, etc. And I can keep all my necessary leveling blocks too.

All that said, I have put my Rhino stinky slinky in the bumper tube before. Just got to turn the fitting on the end, the right way.

The rear bumper will work but is tight. A 6"X6" compartment on the A frame is a nice option. Plus its a nice project for us guys that like to tinker.
