Red face Struggling to find a Propane Reducer?

Hello fellow campers!

Like most of you, my Jayco (featherlite) has a 1/4" NPT Female quick-disconnect plug poking out from underneath the camper. My camper also came equipped with a mounting bracket, grill, and small hose that plugs into the female quick-disconnect fitting.

Recently, i bought a new and slightly larger table-top grill to replace the one that came with the Jayco. My problem is, this new grill has a 3/8" NPT threaded male pipe as the intake. Ideally, I would need a hose that has a male 1/4" quick disconnect fitting on one end, and a threaded female 3/8" NPT fitting on the other.... OR some sort of reducer or something?

I'm embarrassed to tell anyone just how many INCORRECT $5 fittings, couplers, and the like that I've purchased on Amazon! Has anyone gone through this??

Find a propane supplier and see if they can make you the hose you need. That way you could also get the length you want.

I've looked, and such "propane suppliers" are tougher to find that I thought. I'm looking all over the Denver/Colorado Springs area, to no avail.

"Do you make custom hoses?"
"Whaaaaat?"

A local hardware store might be able to help, not Home Depot, like a ACE , DoItCenter, or other independent hardware.

THANK YOU! I just spoke to Troy at Englewood Propane, he said that if I can bring the grill in, he'll make me a hose! Thanks, again!

This may work for you. I just purchased a hose for my Blackstone griddle from them.

No good! The female end is good at 3/8, but the opposite end needs to be a male Quick Connect that's only 1/4 inch.

The type 250 quick connect is 1/4 inch. My new Jayco eagle has the 250 connector not sure if it is the same on all Jaycos
