Wax? ALUMINUM Siding - No DIY and ready to hire out

This thread is for those who are ready to hire out! No DIY on this one! 'new' 2014-2017 aluminum siding (not involving oxidation)

Feeling burnt out, and ready to hire out?

Soooo,
-what wash/wax do folks want on their new 2016+ aluminum siding?
-what do wish for your roof cleaning?

"Been there dun it" veterans?? What advice do you have to offer for those hiring out?

You will find a slew of people, small and large, local and area wide who will be glad to take your money. The best referrals are from someone you know who is satisfied.

We're still on the road after picking up the new tt. We really thought we'd be able to wash then get that initial wax layer on it ourselves. Most campgrounds do not want you washing your rv.

Checking as we've gone from state to state, the least expensive for a hand wash/wax is $200 (for $40 bucks more, wash and wax the truck as well). We are currently in Nevada.

This guy says he will hand wax (Carnuba), and then 'high speed buff' it.

-is Canuba wax a good one now-a-days to use?
-is 'high speed buffing' over-kill? Will that screw up a new aluminum siding?

They come thru cg's we stay in at resorts and do washing and waxing by reservation. Usually $200-300 range for wash and wax.

I still want a reference from someone I know first.

I live in the Midwest and have found there are numbers of "workers" that want to remain off the "radar screen", work for cash, work very hard, and do excellent work. I get my 30' class A coach waxed every spring for a c-note, I supply the wax, towels and ladder. Se habla espanol.

What wax do you supply to your guy?

We received some good reviews from others in our current c/g regarding the guy we think we may go with. él habla bien Inglés

Owners Manual doesn't show what wax is expected to be used on the 2016's. In 2010, Jayco indicated that Carnuba was ok for our new aluminum sided tt.

Unfortunately, we have to let this guy know now when Jayco is closed for the weekend. We head out Tuesday morning. We don't want to commit for him to wash/wax on Monday only to cancel because we finally were able to contact Jayco.

I know.... timing sucks. We usually plan in advance and should have asked these questions before we took delivery
