We are in Warrensburg NY. DW loves yard sales and this weekend the entire town goes into yard sale mode. Largest one I've ever seen...

Heading out to Pomona State Park (Kansas) on Wednesday. First have to take the new rig to be inspected and registered. Then off for four days of calm and serenity.

Camping in the Fall....It's Fantastic!

Finally, no where. Been gone every weekend since the beginning of Labor Day weekend, including 9 straight days on the road. 5 straight football games. Over 2200 miles during that time. The team is on the road in Boston this weekend, we we sit and rest.

However, the following weekend, we're on the road again. Team has an open date, but we're going to a wedding, and will be staying in our 23RB that weekend.

Then we have back to back home games which means another 9 day stretch of being on the road.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, November only has one home game and no road games that are doable, so there will be a lot of rest for the trailer then.

We are going to upper peninsula of Michigan for 10 days. Was supposed to go to South Carolina/Georgia area - that was changed after the hurricane. Maybe next year - not during hurricane season though.

You are headed to the UP at the right time, tree colors will peak in the next week and the weather has been great.

We LOVE the UP! Was there last summer. We are heading to Brookville/Mounds state recreation area. Most of IN state parks are NOT full hookup, but we found this one as our last trip before winterizing. I always like to give the black tank a good flush before putting her to bed for the winter. I'm sad that we will have to wait months before getting her out again.

We're also going to Door County! It's Pumpkin Patch festival in Egg Harbor! The last time the colors were really good up there was about 8 years ago. Weather should be great though.

A view of Horseshoe Island from Peninsula State during that weekend 8 years ago.

I'm bringing Campey home this evening for packing. We're hooking up Monday to head to the Lookout Mountain / Chattanooga West KOA for the week. Kids are out for Fall Break.

We were going to our local state park but the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes prevented that!

Copper Breaks SP followed by Palo Dura Canyon this weekend. Crazy storms to start but pretty nice now. Always fun setting up in a down poor only to find you have an open neutral after you've unhooked etc.

thanks to Nate we just got back from Bay St. Louis , Ms. Crusin the coast for the week but we had to end it 2 days early and missed out on the Beach Boy concert because it was cancelled. If you haven't been to Crusin the Coast and love old cars you are missing something. Over 8000 cars registered this year.

We stayed at Ludington East KOA for our last weekend camping this season. I was not impressed and should have done a better job looking at the site amenities before booking, after staying at multiple KOA's I come to expect full hookup with good Wifi and Cable TV. This one had Wifi but only at the store and did not reach our site very well and would frequently drop off, and no Cable TV. It rained all weekend long so Cable would have been nice. I have to remember to stock more blu-ray movies for those types of trips.

Smile local and far from home

Turkey Swamp Park - Freehold NJ

Near a great supermarket (yay) and far away from suburbia because of woodsy pull-thru sites and our Jayco A-frame popup.

Weekend- done! had lots of friends to the site- life is good.
