Back In The Jayco Family!

Glad to be here! 2003 Jayco Kiwi Too 28R was our first stab at the RV thing with a 4.6L V8 F150 and it was a bit of a chore to pull in the mountains. 2005 F150 with the 5.4L V8 took care of that problem. Tire blowout totaled her in 2015 so we went with a 2015 Keystone Cougar 28RLSWE but it was a bit of a chore to pull that with the 5.4L F150. Even with a racing tranny oil pan and Whipple SC added. Kind of back to square one. Do we go with a 3/4 ton or go back to a lighter coach? Lots of mods and TLC in the 2005 F150 plus the price of a new truck prompted us to procure our new 2017 Jayco Jay Feather 23RLSW. Almost identical in floor plan to the 31 foot "rolling basketball court" that was the Cougar albeit a little "scrunchier". Truck is happy again, and though we miss the spaciousness of the 2K heavier Cougar Monster, we are getting used to being in a more "intimate space" again.
