Welcome to the forum Tomminny!

I pass through Mexico every summer on the way to The 1000 Islands on Route 104. We usually take a break and have a picnic lunch at the baseball fields (Mexico Community Park). Then I take US 11 to Alex Bay. On the way home, its I-81 to I-90 to "Cheektovegas".

Haaaaaa and I thought we were considered "Upstate" being 90 mins from NYC lol. Congrats on the new purchase. Moving from our Starcraft popup to the 28BHBE was the best thing we did !

Its different when you live there. That is the Southern Tier.
No. Westchester County is not upstate. try peddling that line in a bar in Saranac Lake!

Do other states have this identity crisis? As I think more about, I have never heard of "Upstate" anywhere but NY. Upstate Montana? Upstate Florida?

We all have something to argue about.

We have debates about where the Low country stops and the Piedmont starts, as if anyone cares!!

When we moved out of Buffalo everyone told us to move to Amherst or Clarence. Grandma said that was too expensive out there so she insisted we move to Cheeptowaga.

I don't think we're arguing....more like happy banter.

I travel extensively. Inevitably, someone will ask where you're from. If I say NY thay all say what a horrible place to live. Then I clarify its upstate NY, not Manhattan, they all say oh that's different.

We live in what we consider CNY-Jordan. We always have to clarify that we're NOT from NY City when traveling out of state. I grew up in the heart of the Finger Lakes along Seneca Lake-hence Fingerlakes. But anyway, welcome to the forum! Should I assume you purchased from 7 O's? We have delt with them for years and have always been treated very well by them.

There are two Maines. But one The County.. That according to residents of it, is the real Maine. If you live in Portland you live in an extension of Massachusetts.

BTW you either live in Maine or are from Away.
