If you can, set up in your backyard or driveway and try out everything. LIke the previous post said, use the fridge on both gas [first] and electric, fire up the furnace, then do the AC. put a few gallons of fresh water in the tank [if weather permits as you may have to rewinterize] and run the pump. Check out all the exposed plumbing [in cabinet under sink, bath sink] and don't forget the toilet. Flush it. Leave the pump on after pulling some water into the system and listen for the pump to recycle after a few minutes with everything off. Could mean you have a leak somewhere or might just be air in the pipes. Switch on all the lights etc and make sure everything works, will give you a chance to learn what each switch does. put some water in an ice tray and let it sit in the freezer overnite. Remember to switch over to elec after verifying that the fridge is cooling on gas.

It is always better to find a problem at home rather on that first outing to the state park. It will also help with a list of needs [extension cord, grill, kitchen stuff, tpaper, etc. Don't fret, when ??s arise come to the forum and ask. Someone will have an answer or suggestions.

Welcome and congrats on the new rig!!!

Not sure what you are towing with, but if you have a wdh (weigh distribution hitch), become familiar with how to adjust it for your tv (tow vehicle) and trailer as they are loaded. Even if a dealer set up the hitch for you (dealer or private sale?), the wdh was set up for an empty trailer. If from a private owner, the hitch would have been set up for how the previous owner had the trailer loaded and their tv.

Here is a link to wdh set up and how a wdh works.

There definitely are some accessories you will need. Here is a thread with lots of ideas.

Have fun!!!
