Quigley Down Under is my favorite 'western movie'... but is it really a western? BTW, not necessarily an appropriate movie for some youngsters however.
EDIT: Oh, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs! Not for the kids, IMO.

So true! Too bad this, as well as soon many other great movies, could never be made in these politically correct times.
I also suppose that most folks don't think that a 'real' western could be a comedy too. Probably the case. But did anyone like Rustlers Rapsody? Pretty fun.
I'll also agree that most all of The Dukes and Mr. Eastwoods westerns were fantastic. I also had the pleasure of working on 'Silverado' which, I thought, was pretty good as well.
