2020 4113 fridge water dispenser

Hey all!

Newb here, I bought my rig used off of a guy who didn’t know much about this unit.

I’m trying to get the whirlpool residential fridge to dispense water but I am having no luck.

Does anyone know of a water shutoff valve that needs to be opened up?

I found a quarter turn valve under the sink that was connected to a pex line but it looks like it might have something to do with the water bottle in the “basement”.

Thoughts?

I found a shut off valve to mine behind the stove hidden behind a frame. Only reason I found it is because it was leaking when i turned the pump on. (hand tight)

What unit do you have?

I don’t see anything under or behind my oven.

Silly question but did you turn the pump on? it should be a red switch on the side of the kitchen island.

That drinking water bottle is what feeds the fridge and the dispensed on the island

There is not a pump switch on the island.

The only water pumps I have found are the main pump used to draw water from the fresh tank and a pump under the sink that I believe to be for the filtered water bottle in the basement.

I found a quarter turn valve under the sink that I believe is for the fridge, I’ll be trying that once I finishing flushing the hot water heater.

There had to be a red switch somewhere. The pump is in the basement in our unit, but we have a switch to turn it on and you will hear it run. It controls both your drinking water dispenser and supply to the Fridge
