Not all RV's are wired the same when it comes to the inverter. usually just the TV's. If reidential Fridge it will power that.

Which fault code? Is your battery fully charged? What rig do you have?

I always turn mine off when not in use. Even if you are not powering anything from it, it uses some 12 volt power. Why have it on if it is not used?

In my 2014 seismic 3210 toy hauler the inverter needs to be on to run all the gfci out let's. My convection oven, microwave, all gfci outlets, my TV'S, one outside and one in the garage. Plus my water heater and the bedroom ac

I would never think an inverter would be good for a water heater or air conditioner as they just pull gobs of current. You would have to have a truckload of batteries to be able to supply the current for any length of time.

I think my water heater pulls 15 amps on electric. ACs pull even more. To get an inverter to put out 15 amps continuously, which is 1800 watts, you need at least 1800 watts input from 12 volts. Simply put that means almost 150 amps being drawn from the battery bank.

Is this a factory installed inverter or did someone just hook up everything to it?

Same here.
I leave mine on all the time. It's not hurting anything being on.
A few times now the park power has gone out and I didn't realize.. the fridge stays running and the TV's don't make a hiccup whatsoever.

If I didn't leave it on I would be arriving at my destination with some warm beers, because I would never remember to turn it on after disconnecting.

What sic=ze inverter. That is too much connected load. Especially with the A/C. What do you have for a battery bank?
