Refrigerator

The fridge in our 4212 Seismic is not cooling, either on battery or generator. We are boondocking. It worked fine for three days but now is steady at 15 for freezer and 50 for the fridge. Any suggestions?

I’m guessing this is an RV fridge - Have you tried switching to propane?

What type (RV, Residential), along with which model you have.

Sorry for the delay. We are boondocking and no wifi. It is a residentian, not propane, brand is Frigidaire Gallery.

How old? Could be a defrost issue. If the defrost cycle was interrupted, or the heater went bad it could have ice on the coils and is not letting the air flow across them. Unplug or turn it off for about 1/2 hr and see what happens.

Grumpy, thank you for your suggestion. We tried that last night and the freezer went from 33 to 17 and the fridge side went from 52 to 36. We will try again this evening. And yes, the cycle was interrupted while I was replacing led acid batteries to AGM.
