ATS Noise

We have noticed that the ATS is making a "humming" noise continuously in our 2018 Precept 35S. Is this normal? I know we have some master electricians and electrical engineers on this forum. Thank you for comments and advice.

Yes that can be a common issue with an ATS. What you are hearing is the AC hum on the coils holding the contactors down. When you change locations and plug into a different power grid it may go away.

The only way to eliminate it totally is to buy an ATS that uses DC coils

Check it for loose electrical connections and loose screws holding components to enclosure and enclosure to RV.
