Cable TV Instuctions

Can someone help me to get the cable connection working? Cable is hooked up but I do not know how to get it to come up on the TV. Which input on the input box do I use? Sat1, Sat2, ??
How do I search for channels?
Thanks for any help.

You might want to fill in your profile as to what year and model motorhome you have and post which TV you have. Otherwise It's all guess work.

Here are some general thoughts. There should be a button on the outlet near the main television. There is also a light on the same outlet. You press the button so that the light goes off. That disables the power to the OTA (over the air) antenna and allows the cable signal to come in. Then change the television from Air (or Antenna) to Cable and scan for channels. That may not all be applicable to your unit, but it'll get you started.

Did you ever figure out the cable or satellite hookup issue? I have read that there is a cable coax and a separate satellite coax hidden behind the tv antenna hookup that isn’t connected from the factory. I haven’t opened it up yet on my 2018 Precept but would like to know if that’s correct before I start tearing into it. Thanks!

Remember that 90% of all cable is digital and now needs a set top box to receive channels and the TV is nothing more than a monitor.
