Clogged sewer

I have a 2018 Jayco PRECEPT 29v with a macerator system. It is clogged with Kleenex and I am hoping someone can tell me how to unclog it. I have the ability of using either the normal RV sewer hose or the macerator but with the clog it won't drain. Any help will be appreciated

Usually the only way is to back flush it.

You can get a attachment like this on AMAZON WAL-MART or a dealer.

Should have said which "P" Town our daughter lives off of Knoxville in IL

Back flushing will work, been there, done that. You need to review with family members what can and can not be flushed down the toilet. Kleenex, baby wipes, paper towels and some toilet papers are a no no. Test your choice of paper...put some in a glass of water, wait and see if it will begin to break down. Septic safe papers usually are a good choice. And always use lots of water when flushing, it will help make the tank drain better.

Camp site here is going to try sucking it out with the "honey wagon". Will that work or harm something?

Good question.... Only time we've used a "honey wagon" was at a rally and everything was flowing and they never made a tight connection to the sewer valve. The suction was always so strong that nothing leaked.

And you don't ever want to be on the leeward side of that honey wagon in action--it's enough to gag a maggot!

I was able to back flush the black water by connecting a hose to connection on end of the built in macerator. It worked perfectly and then I was able to drain through the macerator. Now both grey and black water tanks are empty! So glad it worked.
