Jayco Precept macerator

Does anyone know where the fuse, or relay for the Theford Sani flow 700 macerator is? We have a 2017 precept 35S.

Very interested in finding out about this as well. We also have a 2017 35S and on this trip the macerator stopped working. I called Jayco and they couldn’t provide any information. They did send me a copy of the manual. Went to the Tampa supershow hoping I could find either a Sanicon or Jayco rep but none available. Will be following this thread closely. Have been draining through the macerator hose without the pump and seems to work well so far. Any suggestions and/or observations would be very welcome.

Jayco 35S

I just bought my 2018. This RV was barely used. I think it sat a lot. The macerator hose was all cracked. When I went to replace it. I found the wires to the Macerator were corroded. Only one wire was connected. The manual doesn’t show anything on the wiring. The wires are right under the pump. Would you be able to get a picture of it? There is 3 wires from the RV (black, white & grey) and 4 wires from the pump (black, white, and 2 purple. The black is labeled +, the white goes directly to ground. If I can get mine fixed, I might be able to help you. You can text me directly (727)267-4069.

Macerator

Hi, I was able to get the wiring diagram for the Sanicon 700. I repaired the wiring, and my macerator is now working. I found a local RV repair place, that was able to call Theford the get the diagram. I would check the wiring under the macerator. Mine was not protected, it is now. Let me know if I can help.

I never found the fuse. I just repaired the wires, and it worked.

Can you share the diagram? The macerator in my 2018 Precept 31UL acts like no power. Like yours, the wires are not protected but everything seems to be connected. Wiring diagram would help confirm... Thanks!

I'm not sure if you can open these attachments. I never found the fuse for this. After repairing the wiring, it worked for a little while, then stopped. Come to find out, the ground was not great. I repaired the ground and now works fine. If your wiring is all connected, remove the ground and make a good solid connection to chassis.

Can't help with the fuse, but last month at the dump station mine wouldn't turn on. clicked the switch 5-6 times, nothing. Had to use the stinky slinky. Got home and was unloading and heard something running. Sure enough it was the macerator. Probably loose/bad ground.

Spoke to Jayco today. Check your 12VDC fuse #4 on your panel. It’s a 15 amp. On my ‘17 35S it’s at one end of the foot of the bed. If it’s good, the ground solution mentioned before sounds very likely. Haven’t been under mine bit will have it here tomorrow and will check fuse and ground. Thanks for pics.
