Slide out

2021 27A and just got back from 3 week trip and during the trip the rear slide would stop working. I researched and found out how to manual override the liepert system and was able too several times along the way. My question is it showed a short between the motor#1 and controller, but the override corrected it? if wires are shorted how does that work without replacing that harness between them? is it in the controller itself?
Before i go and get new wiring harness i thought i would seek out someone smarter than me on this....
thanks,

The "short" listed by the diagnostics of the controller, could mean a bad connection, not necessarily a short like you and I would assume. I would check the connections on either side of the cable controller and motor and see if it needs to be replaced.

The only problem I had with mine in 11 years was a loose connector that hung up and pulled itself out. Plugging it back in and positioning it so it did not hang down to far fixed it. Mine was on a Schwintec slide system

Hey Trey! When you say the rear slide would stop working. does it work all? does it slide out a certain amount and then stop?
