Tire pressure help for 2017 Precept

I just joined the forum and this is my 1st post. Here goes.

I'm hoping someone can give me some advise on maintaining correct tire pressure on the rear duals for my 2017 Precept. I find it quite difficult to check the pressure on the inner tire. I seem to have to crawl around on the ground to locate the valve and sometimes have to move the vehicle a little bit to position the valve to where I can find it and get a gauge on it. For safety reasons I really want to keep on top of tire pressure.

I got some steel-braided extender hoses from Amazon. These seemed like a good solution. However, they needed to be clamped to the outside wheel in order to say in place. They appeared to be designed to clamp to a steel wheel since the gap in the clamp was too small to attach to the aluminum wheels on the Precept. The "spokes" on the aluminum wheel are just too thick. So the extenders were useless to me.

Has anyone found a good/easy way to check inner tire pressure or a device the help with the problem?

I suggest Discount Tire. They can check them now and I'll bet they'll suggest the best way/device for you to do it.

I had the same problem on my 2016, I spent $224 on solid valve stems made for those Wheels that eliminated the problem of checking and filling them. Then I went out and spent $500 on a tire pressure monitoring system, well worth every penny I would suggest you do the same just for peace of mind

Thanks Bracco. It is good to know that those solid valve stems are available. Do you remember what sort of place you went to to have them installed? Was it a truck tire shop?
