OK, we`re in the same boat! I remember seeing the pass through storage on some older Eagles being finished off. I guess Jayco does not do that anymore, unless the Eagle Superlites are different then the Eagle. I cut the insulation to fit in between the braces, glued them on with gorilla glue, then covered it up with the luan. Not really sure how much the insulation helps, but I do like the finished look.

Wouldn't it be nice if Jayco made the doors BIGGER than the pass through?

I actually crawled through my pass through storage. I broke the key off in a tight lock, so in order to remove the latch and lock I crawled in from the other door and unscrewed the lock from the inside. Yep, bigger doors would be a plus!

I am interested in installing a battery disconnect similar to what is shown and would like to know if that is a regular size12v battery box or over sized?

That is a large battery box, it would hold at the least a group 27 and possibly larger battery, but only has a group 24 in it. The box that came with the trailer for a group 24 would not work with the switch, not enough room so I had to buy the larger box.

Yep, the pipe is for engaging the hitch brackets. I lost the one in the pic, must have left it on the bumper or something (yikes) and have since bought another one.

When they built the Eagle HT 27.5 BHS, they musta anticipated 4 inch plumbing. Had to duck/gorilla tape all the bath room plumbing, critters love TT in the winter. I stuff stainless steel pot cleaning pads around the electric cord outlet also, I bought the 5th wheel so I didn't have to put a hasp on the master bed board. My 2011 F150 Eco Boost HD 8,200# HD 2,400/11,200 Custom LB pulls without a whimper. Locked myself out - got a Hide-a-Key, the better half was at the other end of the phone laughing.

In the picture of the hitch it looks like you have the ball tilted to the max can you explain to
Me why the tilt im a new be to these things when the dealer set mine up there is a little tilt but now where near what yours appears to be

RP53,

The way I understand it is that you tilt the ball to achieve the right alignment of the WD bars with the frame.
You want to have the WD bars to be close to parallel aligned with the frame when you have them set.

If you see that the end of the WD bars are very close to the frame, one of the adjustments is to tilt the ball away from the TV to to get the WD more parallel with the frame.

Hope this makes sense.

The angle is not as sever as it appears in the photo. And that is the old style Reese dual cam that has not been made in over a decade, but I`m still using it. The bars do not necessarily run parallel to the frame with that system. I believe more angle on the ball gives you greater weight distribution from the bars when the chains are tightened.
