Insulating Storage Compartments and Doors

I wondering about the value of insulating our storage compartments and the interior side of their doors. It seems like Reflectix would work well. Anyone have knowledge about this or done this or something similar?

When we had our travel trailer I installed 1" rigid foam insulation between the aluminum frame members in the storage bay and then Reflectix over that for a decent R-Value. I used a commercial grade 3M spray glue to hold the foam insulation in place.

I used a hot melt glue gun to apply the 1" foam board and were into year #4 and still holding and over 30K miles.
