I changed the taps as soon as I got it home, read too many of the water every where stories, been really nice using as it hits the middle of the sink and can get my large hands under with out the splash

Thank you for this thread. It encouraged me to change out the bathroom faucet in my 27DSRL. Easy change out for someone that often struggles with repairs.

Since our vacation was delayed this weekend and the trailer was in the driveway, I made a quick trip to the local Menards and now I can get my hands under the bathroom faucet. One of those easy upgrades that makes our camping that much nicer.

I wish you guys would stop this, or maybe I should ban my wife from this site! She saw it and had to have it. It is a lot better as the new faucet sprays into the center of the sink, as others have stated. I have rigid pex lines running to mine and it was a royal PITA to replace as it was very tight back there. You guys stated "hand tight". I assume that include the supply lines. I had to take a pair of pliers to loosen mine from the old faucet. When I attached them to the new faucet, I tightened them as much as I could by hand, then snugged them another 1/4 turn with pliers. Is that OK or should I loosen them and just tighten again by hand? Can't test it for 2 weeks, unfortunately. $50 at Menards. http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/at...1&d=1410218557

I snugged my lines with a pliers too. No worries about vibration leaks later.

Me too. I tightened with pliers but not so much as to crack the fittings since they are often made of plastic and can be broken if over torqued. But, I agree that a good tight fit should keep them from working loose and possibly dripping in the future.

Haven't owned our TT long - only camped in it twice so far - but one of my complaints from the beginning has been that stupid bathroom faucet. Can't even wash your hands because the water flow hits the back of the sink. Y'all make it sound easy so hopefully we can do it.

Here's a pic of our new faucet. We just spent a week camping and it was so much better than the factory installed faucet. I know that the factory's goal is to make a profit but their unusable faucets are an insult to the buyer.

Okay, we tackled it. Well, actually he tackled it with very little assistance needed from me. But it wasn't difficult and looks great. Can't wait to try it out in a couple of weeks!

Looking good with the new faucet. I bet it will be a great improvement.

I need to replace the tiny sink and unusable faucet in our 2013 Melbourne bath. Has anyone put in a larger sink? Any help appreciated!

One of the few things not easy to use in the TT. Will have to look for one. Looks good!

Replaced both the shower head and the sink faucet in the bathroom. Used single lever for the bathroom faucet. Great upgrades by the way.

Why not the single handle faucet?
