A subsidiary of Jayco I hope

Well we flipped out of our Jayco 175RD into a Mesa Ridge 21FB for the Walk Around bed. We looked at both the Jayco 212QB and its sister The Mesa 21FB and decided on the Mesa. 1. the stove on the Mesa is opposite the Jayco... less dangerous, away from dinette, 2. Bathroom door opens oppostite... opens away from front door... 3. The windows are smaller... less heat and cooling loss.
I've heard Mesa Ridge is owner by Jayco thus similar features,i.e, Cabinets, IBeam Pass Through on frame, bed cover... lolol
I hope this qualifies me as a Jayco once removed family member rather than a traitor.
Let me know, be civil 😁

You are correct in that Jayco owns the Mesa line. The Mesa ridge is part of the Highland Ridge RV line. Jayco purchased Open Range back in 2014 and formed the Highland Ridge line. So Highland Ridge RV is a subsidiary of Jayco and Jayco is a subsidiary of Thor.

Not that anyone goes around looking in driveways to make sure you have a Jayco parked there, so you're always welcome here, no matter what you tow. To answer your question, and relieve ALL your pent up tensions about who owns Highland Ridge, here's a quote from their website. Please read it right away, so you can sleep soundly tonight.

"Highland Ridge RV was formed in March of 2014 when Jayco purchased assets of Open Range RV, which had started manufacturing RVs in 2007. Highland Ridge RV is a subsidiary of Jayco and operates its own manufacturing facilities, service and warranty group, sales team, management and leadership teams. Highland Ridge RV is proud to be associated with a company that shares our same commitment to great quality, integrity, vision and values."

How's that for being civil...hmmm??

Well that's good. So is the Jayco Forum the right place for Mesa owners?

There are members on JOF that bought other brands not even associated with JAYCO.. So sure this is the "RIGHT" place..

I own a Jayco TT and a Mesa Ridge 5th wheel. There is a Mesa Ridge/Highlander forum but it’s mostly crickets over there. Too bad there wasn’t a small sub forum here for some of us. This forum is way more active.
