Connex TV
Any Micro owners or other Jayco owners with the Connex 12 v TV.
So I got the grandkids at Ft. Wilderness. We are in the midst of a bad thunderstorm and decided to watch TV. I expected to see Disney stuff thru the cable but all it shows is air channels.
I must be doing something wrong. Surprisingly under sources for the TV, cable is not an option.

There is a setting under channels that allows you to switch to cable. Here's a youtube from Forest River.

A very important thing to know is that, if you are getting on-air channels, your antenna booster must be on. It must be OFF to watch cable! It will be in the ceiling of your TV cabinet, where the TV cable is attached. There will be a tiny button, and a green LED.
LED ON, Over air channels. LED OFF, Cable channels.

Just to add: Cable and over air are the same source (the cable that's plugged into the back of the TV), so that's why there isn't a source choice. You do have to do a separate channel scan for each, but they are the same source.

Grumpy.
That setting just allow for over the air stations. I wanted the cable that Disney provided at Ft. Wilderness, but only get those over the air channels that the TV scanned and received.

The Connexx has Air/Cable choices for the scan. If your booster is off, you choose cable and scan. Screenshot of the manual page for that:

Yes, I showed that from the manual, but my point is that, at least in the micro, the Winegard cable fixture Jayco used doesn't just power the booster, it switches the inputs. So, the very fact that Air signals are received means the switch is on, and cable is impossible until it is turned off.

Your pic on the left still shows "AIR" and I just wanted him to see that it also changes to "CABLE" which it shows in the video. He said it was only "AIR".
I agree that the amp must be off.

True. I assumed the air/cable on the left of that option would show you could choose, but we all know what happens when we assume.

DonBR and Grumpy, thanks for the info on the booster switch! We have only used over the air channels as we have not traveled with a cable to hook up at any campgrounds. However, I was going to toss one in for next campground that we will be at in Nov., I will play with this, thanks!

I found that everytime you either relocate to another campsite or change from air to cable or vice versa you will need to do the auto scan in the menu. Takes a few minutes but is necessary.
