About any good expanding foam sealant worked find for me. I would not recommend silicone. If it falls off nothing will stick to the spot you had it on nor will anything stick to it.

The expanding foam sealant is what came from the factory on my Heartland and it worked fine including providing additional insulation around the pipes.

Agreed on expanding foam. My underbelly is black, so I used black foam sealant which is “pond sealant”, but foam sealant is foam sealant.

While you are sealing up those holes consider packing them with stainless steel scrubbies or crumpled up screen wire. Then foaming into place. This will help keep mice/rats/squirrels from chewing through. For seams black gorrilla tape works very well. Very similar to Eateanabond.

JayLo, thanks for the tip. I’ve used Great Stuff foam on our underbelly but it only comes in “natural” color, which is an ugly yellow-orange. I’ve been looking for a black version! Thanks!

I have also seen the foam sealant in a bug/rodent repellant version in Lowes right along with the other expanding foam products.

I used the rodent one from Lowe's.

Be careful! Once you spray it in, it ain't coming out without a lot of effort (ask me how I know).

Also keep in mind that it EXPANDS. A. LOT. <wry smile>
