Our 324bhts has a "quick connection" that the shower hose plugs into. Releasing the connection to remove this hose is very difficult because there is no room to get your fingers around the fitting. It's a pain in the A. I've only used it once. Good idea but poor design. My parent's Dutchman is even worse. I had to use pliers to release theirs. The outside kitchen faucet gets used often though.

I like to use mine for rinsing/cleaning off my kayak equipment and sometimes clean the dog.

Very occasional use.

The few times I have used it has been more as a hose than a shower. Since my shower head developed a bit of a leak this year, I just ordered this as I think it will be a lot more handy. Will be installing come spring.

I do really like it for the country fill hack when boondocking. Uses the antifreeze fill into a large jug/bucket of water to pump water back into the FW tank via the shower.

It’s the only shower we use at our seasonal site.. I built a shower stall. The inside shower has become storage area.

What I find odd is that there is a lock on the outside shower but not the fresh water fills.

That lock drives me crazy. But apparently not enough for me to do anything about it yet. Eventually I will replace it with a simple non-keyed lever.

We use ours a lot. When boondocking and the kids get muddy boots, It's great for cleaning them. When working outside, It's great for washing hands. When we go to the beach, we use it to wash the sand off of us.
We like having the outdoor shower and use it a lot.

I use ours often. Doesn't fill up the gray tank when we're out and about.

My family took one look at it and said, what would the neighbors say if we took an outdoor shower? Think on that one for a minute. Otherwise the other idea I have is a table with a bowl and towel to wash up with. Otherwise dumbest idea to date.

We use ours all the time to rinse boots wash dishes and stuff. It is especially useful if you don't have a sewer huukup.

I use mine rarely for washing unless we are parked next to a beach or lake. Then its handy for spraying off sandy or muddy feet. But I do use it a lot for rinsing my black water tank. Mine is located next to the black tank clean out. When I'm draining my septic tank I connect the Jayco supplied hose from the shower outlet into the clean-out and turn on the cold water fawcett. I've put quick connects on them so its really easy and fast to hook up. That way you don't need a 2nd hose to hook up to the cleanout.

Smile Sometimes use

When we set up, we unlock the hose and leave it unlocked for our visit. We use it to wash our hair, ( instead of a full shower), our hands, (especially after draining the tanks), and when bbqing - we rinse the utensils many times to get the meat juice off. We also wash off our crocs.

I use it precisely Twice every year, to winterize and de-winterize the plumbing. It's located near to the city water connection and as far from the hot water heater as I can get.

We use it all the time, not as a shower per se, but we often camp near a river and we use it rinse off the muck from our water shoes, my husbands waders, any outside gear. When we camp with our tent friends they use it to rinse off cooking utensils, etc.
Agree with it's stupid to have a lock, should replace that too. Ours is on the back of the trailer and yes, don't forget to include it when winterizing!

I like having a source of hot water on the outside of the camper. It's great for a quick rinse to get the sand off when beach camping. We set up an outside shower stall one year, but I never had the nerve to strip inside it, but I sure could hose myself off really well and wash my hair. Keeps the sand out of the camper. I don't use it all the time, but it sure comes in handy sometimes.

Don't use ours that often but very glad we have it when we need it. What's the point in not having it?

Great ideas!! I thought it would be great for washing a dog, too! Just getting out there full time and love this Forum!

So, it looks like the majority of people who chimed over the last seven days that this was posted use their shower. It looks like it's just used as everything but a full-fledged shower (using soap, shampoo, etc. Dogs don't count). Dumb or not, I'm glad it's there.
