Furrion radio dead

Any suggestions on what to do with the factory installed furrion radio that is all of a sudden dead? Could it have been fried when a fuse was installed on the battery while the AC was plugged in? It should also be noted that, at the time, the battery was connected backward.

The entertainment systems that come with the unit are junk IMO. Good time to upgrade to a better quality unit. Give Crutchfield a call and tell them what you are trying to do. They will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Our Furrion died a week after we got the camper. In the process of getting a new one under warranty. Hope that one works when they install it!

If your batt was installed backwards the the reverse polarity fuses are probably burned. They’ll be in the fuse panel. I did that once and the reverse fuses (4) and fuses in both thermostats were gone. Your radio may be protected by the fuse panel and maybe another behind the radio.
Start by checking ALL fuses then check all 12V things to see what else has been affected.
