Settings for Trailer TPMS

Hi,
Just bought a TPMS for our fifth wheel. We have a Jayco Eagle HT 26.5 BHS with 16” Goodyear Defenders.
I’m wondering what I should set my upper and lower alarm levels for both psi and temperature to. Any thoughts?

Sorry, tires are Goodyear Endurance, not Defender.

I use 10 psi low and 20 psi above the cold tire pressure.

^what norty said.

As far as temperatures, I think the “danger zone” is like 150F or so. My TST came pre programmed for high temp somewhere near that. I run Sailun G rated tires and even in west texas heat of summer, my tires usually run 10-15 degrees above outside air temperatures

I read in my manual to use a low alarm of tire psi - 10% and a high alarm of tire psi + 20%. But it also says that tires may vary somewhat and the high psi may need to be adjusted if the 20% isn't high enough for your particular brand of tires.

The high temp alarm, I used the factory default of 158°f.
