B&W hitch news

I took a look at the B&W web site yesterday and I see they now have a slider that uses the factory pucks. It wasn’t available when I bought mine about 5 years ago. They also offer just the slider base if you already have a non-slider allowing you to use the existing hitch head. They also have a lifting fixture for an overhead lifting device. Looks to be a steel bar with a lifting ring and a pin sized base that the pin jaws grab. The sliding base is a bit $$$ but the lifting fixture is only $35 on their site. Etrailer has it listed but is a little more $$ but is not available.

Yeah what I did is when I bought my ram that have the factory puck I bought the base one but not the slider base for my ram. The slider where heavier and more money so I got the non-slider base from etrailer for the one B&W slider hitch that I had on my 2017 2500 ram. I just need to and I have the base slider up for sale I need to sale the base of my slider.

I have a SB and I hope that I want regret getting the non-slider down the road but the one I had I have never use the slider. It would be good to just buy the lifting fixture for the one I have now those so I might just check out their website.

Yeah, I hear ya Big, I have a SB Ford and busted the back glass making a U-turn. It’s been 5 years and I make tight turns very carefully and with a spotter.
If I got a do-over I’d get a slider but don’t think I want to spend 11k for a new base. The lifting fixture looks good and think I’ll get one of those.

Well I think he meant to say $1,100 that's why come I went with the non-slider base the base of the slider was about $1000. If I would have got the whole setup it would have been pretty high but they are good hitches.
