Morryde lowering

Question first.

Can I lower Morryde rubber pinbox?

Details.
2017 Ford 350 4wd long bed, 2018 Jayco 377rlbh with Morryde rubber pin box, Anderson Ultimate Aluminum hitch II.

I know these trucks are high already but the transition to my road made the 5ver touch the bed rail so I had to park elsewhere. There are 3 bolts in the front and 2 bolts in the rear on the pin box connection. It looks like I can lower a bolt hole but the problem is I would loose a bolt. I called morryde and mentioned this and of course the Engineer went into convulsions. ( I am in no way discrediting his knowledge) but could I not drill another hole and put it back? What’s your thoughts?

Thanks All

You can take bolts out and drop pin box. It will help clearance but may make trailer nose high. I think the bolts have to be torqued. When I did mine on last camper I bought new grade 8 bolts and nuts and spray painted black.

Is there any adjustment in the hitch to go up? That would accomplish the same thing but you may still need to worry about being nose high. You may be able to adjust the suspension on the trailer to help with the nose high.
A lot of people with the same problem. The new trucks are just so high.
