Rock, our weights are pretty close. Front axles are an exact match. My 5er is at 17,580. I do have the factory air bags. Our TV's our duplicates except mine is a 2017. I'm going to reduce my rear psi to see if I get a better ride. I have them at the max of 65 psi. Attached is my scale ticket.

I just looked at a previous post u did and seen your weights. Funny steer axle exactly the same. I did not have but 1/4 black and gray tanks and maybe 1/4 water. Your trailer weight is more but I have more pin weight with generator and washer drier. You will notice a big difference dropping the rear PSI. It seems stupid they only list one psi and not one for just truck and than max weight. My back tires are wearing perfect. Might go back up to 70
In fronts. Do u have a long bed also? Never paid attention to see if 2017 had that option. We have soft rides compared to that 4500.

Yes, long bed which I prefer. I'm going to drop my front to 70 and my rear to 55 and see how that works. What brand tires do you have?

the truck may get a front replacement bumper, Momma wants one, but I need one that fits right for the wide track front end.

lets see if I can rummage up a rear bumper picture. the rear bumper hides all the additional frame that ends up sitting behind the bed compared to a non Cab and chassis.

also if you look at the straight on from the side photos you can see the 3-4" gap that the long bed just doesn't cover if you center the axle over the wheel well.

O and a pic of the 'waterbed' LOL we had a cross state road trip planned so this little bit of weight made the ride much more doable.

I've since added the tool box above the fuel tank and we start the road trips with full tanks, 50 gallons under the truck and 90 gallons in the bed.

we sought after the 4.10 gears for the sole fact that this truck will be unloaded about 97% of its life.

I could not even find a 2019 with 3:73 gears since I will never tow the max listed.
34,130 Lbs

What is the payload and max tow on 4500 Ram? U said the motor was derailed, do you know why Ram did that?
