And that’s why I don’t like pull trailering anything! My 3,300lb toad CRV is truly like not having anything there. I know It’s me, for sure, I’m not the trailering type other than a short slow distance!

Highly unlikely in the case of a double axle equipment trailer. Most of them weigh in at nearly 2000# empty, so selling such a trailer without brakes wouldn't pass muster. Perhaps a home-built?

Bet the mess is still wet on the back of his leg! Been there, lesson learned, at a slower speed fortunately! The sway started on a downgrade because the tail heavy trailer with tree removal debris was trying to pass the vehicle. Swerved pretty heavy, but never pulled a ground loop... Learned later this can be powered through and stopped on an upgrade, but that goes against one's instinct. We installed a trailer brake control, which helped immensely a second encounter, but always pay close attention to loading practices since. See signature below!

Looked like whoever was driving, actually handled/controlled that pretty well considering. Glad no one was hurt.
