The 303 protectant conditions the rubber blade keeping it pliable resulting in better contact with the windshield for a longer period of time. Also protects against damaging UV which dries out the rubber. I also use the 303 on my slide seals to condition them as well.

The two things that kill wiper blades is the pressure on the windshield and the sun. To make blades last longer, cover them when you are parked and put something under the arm to lift the blade off of the glass. Yes, one more thing to do, but it does work. Watch Rock Auto for sales on blades. Occasionally, you can get 3 for the price of one...put the extras in storage. 73s.

Rain x has a few grades of blades that work well, try the teflon ones
