Jayco 23j Roof Sagging

We bought a new 2011 Jayco 23j this year and noticed that the when we ran the airconditioner the last few times we were not getting any condensation coming off the roof. This last weekend we were out camping and it rained, I noticed that we didnt have any water coming off the roof. I grabbed a step ladder and looked on the rood and it has a big drop towards the air conditioner and the water was sitting on the roof in a big puddle. Has anyone else experienced this issue with their hybrids?

I hope it's not serious, but it doesn't sound good.

I see your TT is a 2011 model, are the 2 year warranties transferrable? If so, I'd take it in to a dealer and have them check it.

Good Luck!

Mine has been that way since new. Never has the air conditioner drained off the roof. I always keep the trailer slightly tilted back and to the slide side. Rain does drain off, but I know that there is a puddle on the roof. When the trailer is stored at my house, I can look at the roof as I come down the driveway. After a rain there is always a puddle around the air conditioner. This has caused me some concern, but I haven't brought it up to the dealer or Jayco.

Same with mine. I really noticed it while cleaning the roof. The rest dry except for he small puddle. I now manipulate the angle for run off to a specific gutter.

I sent an email to Jayco tonight regarding this topic. My trailer is currently at my dealer for some other work, so maybe they can connect with the dealer to check to see if this is a problem or not. I will post what Jayco tells me.

I am far from a TT expert, but I have owned one for the last 10 years. If mine had such an issue, it would be at the dealers, and some one would be explaining to me, why the sag! Then again, since you both appear to own a similar TT maybe it is part of the design.

Mine is a 2010, second owner, no warranty. No leaks. Solid roof, no problems. Hope for the best.

It will be interesting to see what Jayco says, I am taking mine back to the dealer on Friday, I figure that sooner or later the puddle will leak. It should run off the roof. I bought it new so my warranty is still good, I also saw on the Jayco site that they have Lifetime warranties on the roof and floor.
