Congrats - The wife and i are about to pull the trigger on a new 2014 x23B that the dealer here has marked down. I wonder if those new features apply to a 2014 as well.

How much below MSRP is normal. We are NEWBIES fro Ca which puts us at a disadvantage for sure. The MSRP on NADA for the 2014 is 23,500. The dealer is asking 19,995........do you think there is room to haggle? Is that ball park what you paid? I might start a thread with this question to everyone on the forum.

Congrats again!!!

Congrats!! We just purchased our first TT and went with the 2014 X23B as well and had our first trip last weekend. I wish they went with the LED lights in the 2014. Here is a tip on the Hot H2O tank, turn the LP and Electric switch on about 10min before a shower and you will almost burn yourself because of how hot the water gets! I speak from experience on this one.

@Brownjm - The dealer told me that the only difference between the 2014 and the 2015 was color on inside........your 14 does not have LED lights?

Nope...I am currently working on converting the interior lights to LED and I have already converted the exterior marker lights to LED.

I just purchased a new 2014 x23b that was marked down to $16,995. The MSRP was 24 or 25K.

Cover

Going to jump in here and hope for the best. We have a 2014 23b and no where to keep it out of the elements. Does anyone use a cover? What kind, do you have problems with ripping, do you need to cover every corner or edge to keep from tearing?

During the camping season I do not cover mine. I do cover it though when I winterize it with an ADCO cover

We use a car canopy in the summer and a cover in the winter. I don't have a picture of our 23B yet, but here is a picture of our former X17Z under the canopy. The canopy definitely helps keep the camper cleaner.

We bought a 10 x 20 foot regular car canopy and extended the legs by 2' with PVC pipe. It was an inexpensive way to keep the trailer clean. The picture shows when we first used it -- now, it is pretty dirty -- but the trailer is not! :-)
